PRODUCT AND CARE

Logo

All LA LARIS pieces of jewelry are valuable unique pieces and are made of 925 silver (sterling silver), some of which are set with real natural and precious stones. Our rose gold and yellow gold designs are finished with 24 carat gold plating.

The high-quality materials, whose fineness and purity are proven by the engraving of our company hallmark, are combined in our in-house jewelry workshop with precise manufacturing skills in a sustainable production process. A special transparent layer covers our non-gold-plated silver jewelry, protecting it from oxidation and discoloration. It is free of heavy metals, skin-friendly and dirt and water repellent.

SURFACES OF SILVER JEWELRY

Since silver is essentially a soft precious metal, traces of external influences, such as scratches and erosion, can appear on the surface more quickly and become visible, and may tarnish the shine in certain areas.

These do not represent material defects, but rather correspond to a normal phenomenon of use - a patina that cannot be avoided despite careful use and is part of every personal piece of jewelry. In order to keep this low in the long term, we recommend our further precautions.

CARE FOR YOUR JEWELERY

Due to the 24 carat gold plating and the special protective layer, traces on the surface (scratches, abrasions) must not be refreshed and polished with a silver cloth or cleaned with liquids. This damages the high-quality layer and causes fading and discoloration. To remove coarse and superficial contamination, we recommend that you gently and carefully use a soft, fine cleaning cloth.

WEARING YOUR JEWELERY

To preserve the high-quality, coated jewelry surface and the shiny gemstones, the influence of liquids (shower water, salt and chlorine water, perfume, hairspray, soap, chemical substances, etc.) should be avoided.

-

It is also recommended to choose the jewelry according to the situation to reduce the risk of bumps, scratches, damage or bending.

You should therefore avoid wearing your piece of jewelry in the following situations:

-

When bathing or showering

When washing hands

When applying hairspray, perfume or other cosmetics

When doing gardening, kitchen or housework

During sports or physical activities

While sleeping

During exposure to strong heat

STORING YOUR JEWELERY

Despite our special layer that protects against discoloration and oxidation, when not in use you should store your piece of jewelry protected from light and ideally separated from each other in our designated packaging or in a soft fabric. This protects your piece of jewelry from influences such as scratching and fading of the surface layer and preserves its shape.

NOTES FOR GEMSTONES

The same general precautions apply to our pure and genuine natural and gemstones . However, they are particularly sensitive to temperature fluctuations, heat sources, strong light, cosmetic products and chemical substances. To prevent the colors from irretrievably fading and to preserve their radiance, pay attention to the instructions described above.

To clean, you can clean a gemstone with lukewarm water and then dry it with a soft cloth.

FRESHWATER PEARL

Since the freshwater pearl is organic, it requires special attention. In addition to the other precautions, it is particularly important for the pearl to avoid contact with chemical substances and not to permanently expose it to a dry environment. Wearing it regularly can ensure that the pearl is provided with enough moisture. This way you preserve the natural texture from cracks and discoloration.

You can use a soft, slightly damp cleaning cloth for cleaning. Do this gently and carefully so as not to dull the shine.
